Axis West Apartments

Original review: Miss Sandra helped us through the process on moving day! She was so helpful and eager to get us all moved in. The place we were at before axis west, was awful and not the safest so this was a big upgrade for us and we are so grateful we were able to find a unit within our budget and availability. We love it here! Update: our neighbors are not courteous or respectful AT ALL. They are always loud, blasting music during the day which the bass of it can be heard in our bedroom bathroom & closet on a daily basis and at night yelling obnoxiously at the top of their lungs. It shouldn’t even be just a rule within after 10pm should be anytime of the day or evening. It’s called courtesy. I was told they would be asked to come to the office a while ago to be spoken with face to face because numerous times this has occurred since a little after we moved in but if it’s been so that they have been spoken to, it’s definitely not doing anything because they still continue to do it. I have given proof of video recordings to the office staff as well and nothing seems like it’s working. It’s beautiful property and I love our apartment but it’s a real shame this is a reoccurrence over and over. I really don’t think we will be renewing our lease due to this situation because it’s just not fair. I guarantee you if it was the other way around anyone would be just as stressed and upset. Do better!

If you want to come home to barking dogs, kids running around in the halls and apartments around you, speeding cars in the parking lot, people blasting music, and management doing nothing because it’s “before 10:00pm” this is you place. This place is made for people who love to be around noise and don’t like peace and quiet. Even when it’s all night, at 3am, or so load you can hear what they are saying they WONT DO ANYTHING! Apartment complex wants me to contact them when I have already done so and no changes are made. Typical let’s act like we care attitude on reviews so people think change will happen. Maybe go and fix all the issues your tenant have rather than waiting for someone to post to act like you care. RENTER BE CAUTIOUS!!! ORIGINAL POST: Apartment is unlivable. Tenants have their young children running around until 2 and 3 in the morning, management does nothing, and the people, who were asked to stoped, say they can't do anything. Another apartment complex that cares only for the tenants who make noise and destroy things instead of the ones that sit quietly in their homes.

Update: Highmark Residential is the new property management and now we are starting to see things changing for good, still far from 5 stars but definitely improving. ••• It’s really sad that this beautiful place is so left behind by Bell Partners, there is a clear need of more budget and staff for this to work, the maintenance takes months to repair something, hallways with carpets full of stains, trash accumulates because the cleaning is barely covered, done by a single person! ON THE ENTIRE COMPLEX, it’s been months since the last time they even vacuumed the hallways. Every door and gate is broken or partially working, every tenant has two clickers that work as a key but everything is just open because not a single door works, and this haven’t been fixed for more than a year now!!! So forget about gated community, or even feeling secure, there’s usually outside people or guests partying at the pool on weekends because anyone can enter, unless something changes, make a good use of your money and pick another place that actually works.

Back in March, I was looking for a new place close to work, and while this one was WAY above my budget, the staff and customer service was PHENOMENAL. Mallory and Orlando specifically. That alone, made me consider the apartments. Then the tour... omg this place is beautiful! So I signed a lease. But once summer hit, all at once, a new management team came in (Mallory & Orlando-gone), as well as a TON OF TOURISTS. In the lease, it basically says that your apartment is not allowed to be rented out, but as you walk around the buildings, you can find about 21 doors with lockboxes for Air BnB renters to access keys for the units. Having tourists around might not seem like a big deal but what does it mean for the actual residents? Let me tell you: 1. Your neighbors will be up until 2am enjoying their vacation... you can hear every word. 2. You won't be able to get into the complex because the vacationers park in front of the gate and don't have a clicker to get inside (you'll have to click them in with yours) 3. The doors to your building will likely not be locked as they are supposed to be, because the vacationers don't have the clicker to get into that either, so they pull the door until it breaks... Right now ALL our doors are set to "unlocked" because of this problem. And our main door has been unlocked for 2 MONTHS straight. 4. The hallways are going to remind you of living in a college dorm, smells and all, because the vacationers don't understand how the valet trash works and just leave it in front of their door, FOR DAYS. (see attached pics. These are all from the same day.) I wish I was exaggerating, but what could have been a quality luxury apartment, has been quite literally ruined. This is the first review I've ever written for anything EVER. I just want you to consider your options as I've personally lived in a lot better places for a lot less. 😔 Maybe if you want to move in, take a tour and if you still see all the lockboxes on the doors, find a different place. It's really only the vacationers that are the problem here...

I absolutely LOVED living here. Unfortunately I’m turning my keys in today. I bought a home. Rent has increased everywhere in Florida. The apartments here are lovely. The pool area is family friendly and beautiful. I will miss my apartment so much. Thank you, Sandra. You are the absolute BEST! If I had one criticism it would only be that there is only one girl to clean and there is no way she can keep the entire complex tidy all the time by herself. I hope they get more staff to help her. If you rent here you will not regret it.😘😘
